Description
PTFE rod is divided into molded rod 、extruded rod and pressed rod.Diameter 1-5mm rods are made of polytetrafluoroethylene resin by paste extrusion processing; Diameter 6-200mm rod selection suspension PTFE resin made by plunger processing;Diameter more than 200mm rods by molding production.
Advantage
- High temperature resistance -- operating temperature up to 250℃.
- Low temperature resistance -- good mechanical toughness; Even when the temperature drops to -196℃, 5% elongation can be maintained.
- Corrosion resistance - inert to most chemicals and solvents, resistant to strong acids and bases, water and various organic solvents.
- Weather resistance - has the best aging life of plastics.
- High lubrication - the lowest friction coefficient of solid materials.
- Non-adhesion - is the minimum surface tension in solid materials, does not adhere to any material, mechanical properties of its friction coefficient is very small, only 1/5 of polyethylene, which is an important feature of perfluorocarbon surface. And because of the very low intermolecular force of fluorine - carbon chain, ptfe is non-viscous.
- Non-toxic -- with physiological inertia, as artificial blood vessels and organs implanted in the body for a long time without adverse reactions.
Application
Chemical industry: can be used as anticorrosive material, can manufacture all kinds of anticorrosive parts, such as pipes, valves, pumps and pipe fittings joints, etc. Can make reactor, distillation tower and anti-corrosion equipment lining and coating.
Mechanical: can be used for self-lubricating bearings, piston rings, oil seals and sealing rings. Self lubricity can reduce wear and heating of parts and reduce power consumption.
Electronic and electrical aspects: mainly used for manufacturing various wire and cable, battery electrode, battery diaphragm, printed circuit board and so on.
Medical material: with its heat resistance, water resistance and non-toxic properties, it can be used as the material of various medical instruments and artificial organs.
