Description

PTFE gasket is also called Teflon gasket、a flat gasket made of ptfe rod、tube and plate by mechanical molding or cutting.

Sodium treatment

Sodium treatmen that surface of PTFE gasket is treated with Sodium naphthalene liquid to give its surface a special treatment, making the liquid and surface of PTFE gasket to produce chemical reaction, tear off the surface of fluorine molecules. At this time, carbonization layer and some polar groups are left on the surface, so as to obtain activated PTFE. In this way,etched PTFE gasket can be bonded  with  rubber, metal, plastic, wood, non-metal and other materials. The surface of etched PTFE gasket is brown.

2. High bonding strength, long service time, long life, strong acid and alkali corrosion resistance, not easy to peel.
3. Sodium treatment only produces effect on the surface, has no effect on the inside ofPTFE V envelope gasket ,does not affect its basic characteristics.

Application

1. Suitable for bio-pharmaceutical, food, chemical, oil refining, military, ship, aerospace, machinery and other high sealing, high corrosion environment.
2. Suitable for heat exchanger, FRP, compression frame flange, steam vessel flange, liquid and gas system water system, fan frame and other construction sites.
3. Used for industrial mechanical seals.
